“ I live in the neighborhood and Ive been walking here with my dog a few times a week for the past 2 years. This is the kind of place where the staff remember my name, my order, my dogs name, and my dogs order. The staff will often chat for a few minutes when theres not a line and I always feel so welcome coming here. And, in case youre wondering, the food is also phenomenal! They bake their breads, biscuits, and desserts inhouse each morning so everything is fresh and delicious. A few favorites I highly recommend biscuits and gravy, pineapple honey cake, cassava cake, the Big Hass, and the Captain Rick. ”
“ I love eating here, its nice to see them slice the bread from a whole loaf when theyre preparing your food. I havent had anything here I didnt enjoy and they let us try some habanero sauce that was amazing! The staff are friendly and the menu is setup to where youll get your meal pretty quick. I like bringing my friends here in the mornings before a fishing or hiking trip. thanks again! ”
“ Wonderful place to get a sandwich, latte, or pastries. I visited here about a year ago and have been coming back at least twice a week since. The staff is friendly, the food and pastries are delicious, and the coffee is great. The only downside is that South Pine is becoming more popular, so a line is to be expected. Still...worth the wait. ”
“ If you are visiting the town andor you just want to go somewhere for a nice, small breakfast, definitely try this place. Clean, organized cafe and friendly staff too. We had pineapple honey cake, Herbaceous, and also tried sugar pine honey latte.. all are delicious! ”
“ I wanted to shout out my favorite local cafe! Pictured is The Jewel my alltime fave, one of the best things Ive ever eaten two warm biscuit halves, sweet pepper jelly, bacon, soft egg, sesame seeds, their Sugar Pine Honey Latte, and their coffee cake. As a former southerner, let me say their biscuits are just perfectcrisp edges, perfectly soft middle, incredible texture. They make everything inhouse, with a different selection of pastries and baked goods every day. Ive rotated between their lattescoffees both soft and hot, sandwiches with herbed bread, the Gone Country savory biscuit with toppings, Bees Knees biscuits with local honey and butter, the South Pine biscuits and sausage gravy again, as a southerner, its just so delish, and various sweets like chocolate chip cookies literally perfect, my boyfriend and I talk about them constantly because theyre the best weve ever had, baklava, cinnamon roll, cardamon roll, coffee cake, etc. The staffowners are always sweet and working so hard every time I go in. When my family flew in, I brought them there first thing, and they were floored by how amazing everything was. Moving to Oregon, I felt like I needed to find a nice cafebakery to ground me plus, feed my coffee and sweet cravings and give me that warm feeling. This place really deserves all the love! ”
“ Bright natural light with half of the restaurant being floor to ceiling windows. Very homey spot, fresh baked goods, breakfast, lunch and craft espresso drinks. Quick service, great music and free wifi. Comfy space for group or solo dining. Try the South Pine honey latte and be sure to grab something out of the front bakery, good case! The sausage gravy is delicious. ”
“ This one of our ABSOLUTE favorite places to haunt. The staff and owners are all so kind and helpful! You can tell everything is made with so much care. Everything is delicious and my personal favorite is the biscuit with gravy add an egg. ”
“ Everything tasted so fresh and well made. The biscuits are amazing and the gravy tastes real and so yummy. The Jewel biscuit is amazing too. Atmosphere was chill and there was a cute espresso machine toy for young kids to play with! That gave me a smile ”
